Las instituciones universitarias como dispositivos configuradores de la aspiración social: elementos de conformación de la subjetividad en el estudiantado

Conceptions around social aspiration are generated through sociocultural discourses and practices that have the effect of forming subjectivities. The University is a dispositive through which multiple discourses, practices and symbols converge to form conceptions that have the effect of generating social aspirations present in the processes of student formation. This qualitative research aims to analyze the socio-cultural elements that are articulated in the dispositives of subjectivity formation present in the University tending to the production of social aspirations in the students. The method used is semiotic analysis. Data production techniques are non-participant observation of the physical and virtual spaces of two universities in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. The main findings are the recognition of four dispositives: success, family, socio-economic and gender, which are articulated as mechanisms for the formation of subjectivities that tend to social aspiration
