La formación de logopedas para el desarrollo integral del lenguaje en escolares con discapacidad intelectual

The implications of inclusive education policies highlight the value of promoting the development of language and communication in schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities. The analysis of the multidisciplinary content of the training is essential to note its didactic and educational value in the content of the profession, orienting its understanding in the training process. In the training process, the content is not fully addressed, privileging the gnoseological without revealing its procedural and attitudinal value. Therefore, the present study aims to analyze the content of the integral development of language and communication of schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities in the training of speech therapists in order to note the multidisciplinary content that characterizes the didactic component of their professional activity. The areas of intervention to evaluate and intervene in these cases are identified.
