Las Tecnologías para el Aprendizaje y el Conocimiento (TAC) aplicadas a las Necesidades Educativas Especiales en el contexto ecuatoriano.
This article aims to analyze the impact of Learning and Knowledge Technologies (LKT) in inclusive education, with a specific focus on their application to serve students with Special Education Needs (SEN) in the Ecuadorian context. The methodology used consists of a theoretical review and analysis of previous studies that explore the benefits and challenges of LKT in inclusive education. Data from various investigations were collected to identify the most effective technological tools and how they favor the teaching-learning process, particularly instudents with difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, visual impairment and autism. The main results highlight that LKT, such as educational software, pedagogical games and multimedia resources, have been shown to be effective in improving cognitive skills and overcoming learning barriers. However, the implementation of these technologies faces challenges related to the lack of adequate infrastructure, insufficient teacher training and inequality in access to technology, especially in rural areas. In conclusion, TACs are essential to foster inclusive education in Ecuador, but their potential is limited by obstacles in infrastructure and training. It is recommended to strengthen educational policies, invest in technological resources and train teachers to ensure effective and accessible implementation of TACs, promoting equitable education for all students with SEN
