La Guerra del Chaco según Stroessner. Instrumentalización de la historia de la Contienda por la dictadura militar del Paraguay (1954-1989) a través de la declaración “obra útil”

This work presents an exhaustive compilation of the bibliographical production on the Chaco War (Paraguay-Bolivia, 1932-1935) declared "useful work" during the government of Alfredo Stroessner (1954-1989) with the purpose of evaluating the quantitative impact of instrumentalization of the historiography referred to the Contest. Of every 10 books published on the Chaco War, in the Stronismo periods, 4 of them were declared as “useful work”. The article is relevant as a contribution to the knowledge of a substantive aspect of a historical political stage in Paraguay, of how political propaganda worked and how it affected formal education.
