Laboratório de experimentos de Internet das Coisas
This study explores the Internet of Things (IoT), focusing on demonstrating the practical integration of accessible technologies in home automation. Motivated by the growing relevance of IoT in connectivity and process automation, the work aims to illustrate how simple solutions can meet practical demands. The developed experiment consisted of remotely controlling an RGB LED using the ESP32 board, the MQTT protocol, and the Node-RED platform. The methodology involved setting up a development environment, constructing the circuit, and analyzing message exchange between devices through the MQTT publish/subscribe model. The results highlighted the efficiency of the protocol in device communication and the user-friendliness of the Node-RED platform, demonstrating that it is possible to create functional and accessible systems even with limited resources. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the challenges associated with IoT, such as data security and interoperability, while underscoring the transformative potential of this technology in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, and security. It concludes that IoT is a promising technology capable of fostering greater connectivity and providing practical solutions to improve everyday processes and meet the demands of an increasingly integrated world.
