Innovación tecnológica educativa y el desempeño matemático en los estudiantes de décimo año básico

Technology in the educational process, not only facilitates access to updated and diverse information, but also allows the personalization of teaching, because of the facilities it provides for a more inclusive and equitable education, where all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential, however, the poor training of teachers on the use of educational technologies, socioeconomic and cultural factors of students affect the poor application of technology in the Pueblo Nuevo Fiscal Educational Unit; Therefore, the objective of the study is to elaborate a proposal of practical workshops to train teachers on the use of educational technologies and to favor the mathematical performance of students in thetenth grade. The research methodology was based on the qualitative, descriptive, explanatory and analytical approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population under study consisted of 4 mathematics teachers and 57 students. The sampling process applied was non-probabilistic and intentional, selecting the students enrolled in parallel “A”, tenth year of general basic education. Documentary techniques and surveys were used. Among the results, it is shown that the implementation of technological tools can promote a more dynamic, interactive and meaningful learning, so teachers should be trained in continuous training workshops on the use of educational software, applications and digital platforms that enhance the learning of mathematics.
