Investigar con niñxs en cárcova: Una lectura situada, sentida y parcial: Florencia gastaminza

In this article we recover research processes with children from the organization “Rebeldes de Carcova” in Buenos Aires, from the team “Children, youth and families: Social transformations, care crisis and future projects in post-pandemic scenarios”. In this framework, we developed collaborative workshops on their perspectives and experiences of care. Now we focus on our interactions with children, examining ethnographic notes and addressing different perspectives that discuss children’s protagonism and propose de-centering childhood to analyze multiple conditions and the relational nature of knowledge. Among the findings, we highlight that intergenerational agreements and negotiations configured particular senses of participation and care. These dynamics, far from being predefined, emerged from the methodological, ethical and political course of the project. From an affective approach to methodological strategies, we point out that emotions and links constitute key interpretive resources, contributing to debates on the co-construction of knowledge in social studies.
