Interdisciplinariedad y su Impacto en el Desarrollo del Pensamiento Crítico
This research analyzes the impact of interdisciplinarity on the development of critical thinking in elementary school students, recognizing the need to transform traditional teaching towards more integrative models. In fiscal educational contexts, where structural limitations persist, it becomes urgent to apply methodologies that connect knowledge and promote students' reflective analysis of their reality. The main objective was to analyze the impact of interdisciplinarity in the consolidation of critical thinking. A qualitative methodology was used, with a descriptive-exploratory and documentary-bibliographic approach, based on the analysis of recent scientific sources in Spanish and English, applying theoretical, inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods, through the documentary analysis technique. The results showed that interdisciplinarity favors a deeper and contextualized understanding of knowledge; the proposed strategies allowed visualizing applicable experiences that stimulate creativity, critical reflection and the resolution of real problems. It is concluded that the integration of knowledge from different areas not only improves learning, but also positions critical thinking as a transforming tool for the student's school and social life.
