Importância de plano de desenvolvimento de carreiras para estagiários na perspectiva de alunos de graduação

The study addresses the importance of career plans for interns, especially in the post-pandemic context, where career planning becomes crucial for professional success. The research aims to understand the interns' views on the challenges faced in organizations and their perception of the career development offered. The methodology used was an exploratory research, with a survey applied to Business Administration students from the fifth semester at PUC/SP. The structured electronic questionnaire, with a concordance scale from 0 to 10, was sent via email, resulting in 63 valid responses. Data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel© software. The results indicate that, although interns consider their functions relevant to the companies, they feel a lack of significant appreciation from the organization as a whole. When appreciation occurs, it is predominantly from the direct manager, with few formal career development actions from the HR department. It is concluded that the lack of attention to the career development of interns negatively impacts their expectations and future performance. It is recommended that educational institutions and organizations promote internship programs aimed at the integral development of interns and adopt systematic career development processes. More comprehensive future studies are suggested to obtain generalizable results.
