Expansión de corticales con piezoeléctrico y regeneración ósea guiada en la colocación de implantes: Reporte de caso
One of the anatomical conditions that increases the risk of failures in implantology is the narrow alveolar ridge, which makes it difficult to make the surgical beds for the implants and favors the appearance of fenestrations of the cortical bone, being important the techniques of expansion of cortical and guided bone regeneration, for the success of the implant. This case report describes the placement of implants in a patient with a narrow mandibular ridge and bone loss, in whom piezoelectric cortical expansion and guided bone regeneration were performed. The results of the technique are described.
