Du concerto et du jazz dans fer de lance de bottey zadi zaourou

The correlative effects between poetic and musical rhythms in Fer de lance generate two musical genres: concerto and jazz. For this purpose, the intellectual path which has led to the expected results is structural stylistics. This deeply descriptive and critical methodological path allows us to affirm that the concerto written for the dôdô (the musical arc) is part of the dialogue between him and the audience-choir and itself in order to showcase its virtuosity, like a classical concerto soloist. The rhythm of jazz, on the other hand, is generated by a succession of silent e non-elided words creating syncopations. This rhythmic pattern, marked by improvisations that correspond to the asymmetry of the verses, is also reinforced by the pentatonic scale, symbolized by the use of five image verbs. Thus, through poetic rhythm, Zadi composes music.
