El Poder del Juego en el Aprendizaje Infantil: Actividades Lúdicas que Potencian el Desarrollo Cognitivo y Social
This study examines the impact of play activities on holistic child development, a crucial issue in education today. With the growing recognition of the value of play in the early years of life, it is critical to understand how these activities contribute to children's cognitive, social, and emotional development, allowing them to personalize their learning experience. The aim of the research is to analyze these effects through a comprehensive review of the existing literature and to provide recommendations for a strategic use of play in early childhood education. The methodology used was qualitative and descriptive, based on a systematic review of 142 academic articles selected from specialized databases. These studies explore the impact of play in various areas of child development. Through a critical analysis of the findings, patterns were identified that reflect both the benefits and complexities associated with play activities in children's learning. The main results indicate that play activities have great potential to personalize learning by tailoring experiences to children's individual needs and enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. However, challenges were also identified, such as the need to design activitiesthat truly foster integral development. In conclusion, play activities in early childhood education offer multiple opportunities for human development. It is essential to adopt a balanced approach that maximizes their pedagogical benefits, ensuring a strategic and conscious implementation of play as a fundamental tool in children's learning.
