El Fútbol y el desarrollo de habilidades motrices básicas en la infancia: Revisión Sistemática
Soccer as a game is an appropriate tool in Physical Education classes for children since the development of motor skills in childhood is an essential axis in their psychomotor environment. The goal of this paper is to conduct a review of studies that show the impact of soccer on the development of basic motor skills. Using as methodology the systematic review with the PRISMA method (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses), performing an analysis of articles with search criteria resulting in 220 articles published between the years of 2019-2024 in Scielo, Scopus, and Latindex platforms, each study was evaluated according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria validating 5 articles that integrate the study variables. The main findings indicate that play is important for children's motor development, as it not only plays an important role in physical and psychological development, but it is also an excellent educational medium that has an impact on the most diverse and complex composition of evolutionary processes.
