Estrategias Audiovisuales aplicadas en el desarrollo de clases prácticas en estudiantes universitarios

Introduction: Practical classes are fundamental in university education, but their effectiveness is hindered by circumstantial factors. Audiovisual strategies emerge as valuable tools that strengthen learning and promote competencies for educational autonomy. The objective of this research is to understand the value of audiovisual strategies in teaching during university practical classes. Method: Scientific papers on the use of audiovisual strategies in education and their application during the COVID-19 pandemic were reviewed. The use of YouTube, simulations and inverted classroom was analyzed, focusing on their integration in university teaching. Results: The documentary review highlighted the power of audiovisual strategies, such as the flipped classroom and virtual simulations, to facilitate active and deep learning, especially through the use of visual images. Conclusions: The advantages of using audiovisual strategies in practical classes are evident. Evidence suggests that their use not only improves retention and comprehension of content, but also promotes more interactive and participatory learning. To maximize these benefits, it is important to address the identified challenges and conduct further research in a variety of disciplines and educational contexts. In addition, it is recommended to develop educational policies and programs that promote the integration of audiovisual resources into the university curriculum.
