El juego y la gamificación como Estrategia para potenciar el aprendizaje en los estudiantes

Play and gamification have emerged as key strategies in the educational field, transforming traditional teaching methods. These methodologies promote more dynamic and participatory learning, enhancing student motivation and engagement. The aim of this article is to analyse the impact of play and gamification on teaching and learning processes, evaluating their effects on interaction, knowledge retention, and skill development. The methodology employed is based on a thorough review of previous studies and projects implemented across various educational contexts, providing a broad view of the applications and outcomes of these strategies. The most significant results indicate that both play and gamification have the potential to improve student participation and performance, facilitating learning through playful interaction and the setting of clear goals. Furthermore, it is observed that these methodologies not only foster knowledge acquisition but also develop social, emotional, and cognitive competencies. However, challenges are identified, such as the need for proper teacher training and the integration of technologies that optimise these practices. In conclusion, play and gamification emerge as effective tools to enrich educational processes, creating more inclusive and motivating environments for students.
