El discurso de las series de tv de la transición española y la picaresca como género transversal: "El pícaro" (Fernán Gómez, 1974) y "Juncal" (de Armiñán, 1989)

In this article, we analyze two TV series that achieved their peak viewership in the last third of the 20th century on the Spanish public broadcaster RTVE, which drew from the literary and theatrical traditions of the Golden Age: El Pícaro and Juncal. These two series involve interactions between literature, theater, and TV. In this case, we are interested in observing how theatrical and literary discourse is integrated into television discourse. Regarding the analysis of El Pícaro and Juncal, we have focused particularly on the linguistic aspect, including various forms of discourse such as monologues, dialogues, etc. (Zellig S. Harris, 1963). However, we have also expanded into the translinguistic area, which is the region of television series discourse where verbal language is complemented by images to express gestural, facial expressions, body posture, proxemic, kinesic elements, and thereby achieve the integration of materials
