El pensamiento crítico como herramienta para la construcción de conocimiento

This study analyzes the influence of critical thinking on the construction of knowledge through bibliographic research. 88 documents were reviewed, of which 10 were selected for their relevance within the sampling system. The methodology used was qualitative, based on the exploration, evaluation and classification of relevant texts, applying the PRISMA 2020 method as a framework for systematic review. The results show that critical thinking is fundamental in the learning process and can be developed through various techniques, such as text analysis, debates, problem solving, research, self-reflection and argumentation. These strategies encourage informed decision-making and strengthen intellectual autonomy. There is consensus on the importance of critical thinking, although the methodologies for its development vary. While some approaches prioritize systematic structures, others promote an integrative vision. Beyond the academic field, critical thinking is an essential skill in the 21st century, favoring personal and professional growth. Its role in the generation and validation of knowledge responds to the demands of each historical context, consolidating it as a pillar of contemporary education.
