El conocimiento de la literatura camerunesa en lengua española en el Segundo ciclo del E/LE en Camerún: Análisis cuantitativo

This article analyzes the situation of Cameroonian literature in the Spanish language within the Cameroonian school environment. It seems that this literature is little known, while Spanish is taught as a Second Foreign Language. In this article, we propose to study three aspects: first, to analyze the themes covered in school curricula and textbooks, then to measure the degree of knowledge of this literature by teachers and students in the second cycle, and finally, to verify whether this literature is included in the curricula and textbooks. We opted for the quantitative method according to Gonzalez and Latorre (1987) by addressing these questionnaires to teachers and students in the Second Cycle. The analysis of the programs, manuals and questionnaires highlights the lack of visibility of Cameroonian literature in the Spanish language the Cameroonian school environment. We propose a better integration of this literature into school curricula.
