El Impacto del Docente en el Desarrollo Personal, Educativo y Profesional del Estudiante Universitario.

The presented research addresses the significant influence that the relationship between teachers and students (rapport) can have on the academic, personal, and professional lives of university students. A mixed-methods study was conducted, involving interviews and digital questionnaires administered to 44 students from the School of Languages at the Universidad Regional del Sureste (URSE). The most relevant findings indicate that both positive and negative relationships with teachers impact students' past, present, and future decisions. Specifically, a positive rapport fosters students' confidence in themselves and their academic environment. Conversely, a negative relationship can lead to issues such as anxiety and insecurity, adversely affecting emotional well-being and academic performance. This study emphasizes the importance of recognizing how interactions between teachers and students can influence the holistic development of learners. The quality of rapport not only affects learning outcomes but also contributes to students' personal and professional growth. Therefore, it is crucial for future educators to understand the significant impact they have on their students' lives and to strive to build meaningful and constructive relationships in the classroom.
