Desafíos y conflictos en el abordaje de temáticas sexo-genéricas en la enseñanza media en El Maitén (Chubut, Argentina)

The Integral Sexual Education Law (ISEL) has been in force in Argentina for more than 15 years. However, its implementation is dissimilar in different territories. This article investigates the conflicts around the ISEL in a village in Chubut, in secondary school. The work is part of a postdoctoral research on access to sexual-gender rights of young people living in three rural and semi-urban villages in Norpatagonia. Using a qualitative ethnographic methodology, different problematic nuclei are identified. The article proposes to understand the conflicts around the application of the ISEL considering the intervening actors, their perspectives and cultural practices, as well as the intelligibility of the norm that arises from the different agencies of state involved.
