Development of an analysis tool for automated SMS-recalls

This study investigates how a final product can be developed to enable effective analysis of ASI (automatic SMS-recall) that optic stores send to their customers. The purpose of the project was to develop a solution that enables the analysis of data related to various stores within the system. The functionality includes, selecting a specific store for analysis, visualizing the number of ASIs sent in a bar chart, searching for an individual customer, and presenting SMS events between the customer and the store in both a timeline and a list. The project was carried out in collaboration with Ninetech, which has expressed interest in developing functionality to address issues that have arisen due to shortcomings in analysis tools. The project initiated with a pilot study of an existing codebase based on MVC and N-Layer Architecture, followed by implementing DataTables, Chart.js, and AJAX-calls. The result of the project is new functionality in the system that allows users to select a store and conduct analyses of ASIs, which is visualized on a new page in the system through bar charts and a timeline. Additionally, a list was implemented as an alternative to the timeline to more clearly present the same data, as the timeline could not display data accurately at the millisecond level over a 14-day period. In summary, every project goal has been achieved. The developed solution answers the research question: How can a final product be developed to enable effective analysis of automatic SMS recall?
