Direct recycling of spent NCA cathode active material for Li-ion batteries

A novel, solvent-free process for directly recycling NCA cathode active material through heat treatment will be presented. The developed process aims to recondition the cathode active material without destroying it, thereby restoring its energy density and cycle life.
