Cultura investigativa en estudiantes de formación tecnológica superior en Ecuador: perspectivas teóricas

o understand the impact of the development of a research culture on professional training and the country’s social development, the theoretical and practical perspectives of research culture among students of higher technological education in Ecuador are analyzed to understand its potential for social development. A critical analysis of the specialized literature on research culture was conducted, using a qualitative, narrative approach. This included source selection, inclusion criteria, evaluation, and presentation of findings as results. In this regard, three main perspectives were identified: as a process, defining it as a dynamic process that involves the development of habits, attitudes, values, and practices related to research; as a creative practice, conceived as an activity aimed at the reinterpretation and problematization of knowledge; and as a dimension of social development, considered a vital resource for social development and technological innovation. It is concluded that the development of a research culture in Ecuadorian education requires a joint effort by academia, the state, and society for its sustainable strengthening
