Design and deployment of a cloud infrastructure for scientific computing using OpenStack.

This thesis aims at deploying a cloud infrastructure for scientific computing based on OpenStack. The goal is to design an infrastructure specifically tailored for scientific computing and deploy a proof-of-concept infrastructure based on real hardware. The thesis will be carried out in collaboration with the datacenter of the University of Pisa.
