Como valorar y tratar un fibromixoma superficial acral a traves de un caso clinico
Objective: To carry out a comprehensive assessment and a postoperative care plan for a patient operated on for a superficial acral fibromyxoma in the third toe of the left foot. Methodology: A clinical case review was conducted. The assessment was performed using Marjory Gordon’s eleven Functional Health Patterns. The care plan was developed according to the NANDA, NOC, and NIC taxonomies, applying the AREA model for the selection of diagnoses and the DREOM model for identifying outcomes and interventions. Additionally, various validated scales were used to support the objective assessment. Results: Eight NANDA diagnoses were identified, with three prioritized related to mobility problems, self-perception/self-concept, and skin injury. The care plan includes eight NOC outcomes and ten NIC interventions. Currently, all diagnoses have been satisfactorily resolved. Conclusions: This clinical case has enabled the identification of nursing care guidelines in a common situation for patients undergoing surgery for skin tumors, who, after surgical intervention, are managed in primary care and present with multiple biopsychosocial issues. We believe that the results obtained may provide valuable information as a basis for pedagogical learning and for formulating hypotheses in research studies that allow for a deeper understanding of this health problem.
