Construyendo la Identidad nacional: La Importancia del Marco Normativo en la Educación Pública Mexicana

The research aims to reflect on the normative foundations of the concept of National Identity for the development of new educational models in Mexico. The study seeks to examine the current situation regarding the promotion of National Identity in basic education, relying on official documents that outline strategies, plans, and projects designed to strengthen the identity of Mexicans. This study analyzed the promotion of National Identity within the framework of Educational Public Policies, contextualizing Mexicanness in its close relationship with National Values. To achieve the stated goals, a thorough documentary review of the legal-regulatory framework related to the development of the concept of Mexican National Identity was conducted, as it is promoted in educational public policy.
