Características psicopatológicas en una muestra de adolescentes violentos atendidos en un centro de salud mental de la Habana-Cuba.

The main purpose is to describe the psychopathological characteristics of a sample of 30 young people between 16 and 24 years of age who attended violence consultation at the Community Mental Health Center of the 10 de Octubre municipality, Havana-Cuba. A non-experimental expo-facto cross-sectional design was used, with a quantitative approach; for the collection of information a review of the clinical history, psychiatric examination, de Plutchik's Impulsivity Scale, de Plutchik's Violence Risk Scale, de Plutchik's Suicide Risk Scale, Buss-Durkee's Hostility Inventory and electroencephalogram with brain waves were used. The results indicate that it is a mostly male population that exerts reactive mixed type violence, with diagnoses of organic personality, impulsivity, suicide risk and paroxysmal type alterations with left fronto-temporal predominance.
