ATLAS results on top, $t\bar{t}$ and associated cross-sections
The top quark is the heaviest particle in the Standard Model (SM), and its production processes provide unique opportunities to perform precision tests of QCD at high energy scales, and to search for effects of physics beyond the SM. This contribution summarises recent ATLAS measurements of single-top and top-quark pair production using the data from the proton-proton collision at the LHC. These include single-top production in the $t$-channel at both 5.02\,TeV and 13\,TeV, single-top production in association with a $W$ boson, and top-quark pair production in association with a high-energy photon. New differential results for $t\bar{t}$ and $t\bar{t}+$jets are also presented. The measurements are found to be consistent with the SM predictions.
