Att odla kunskap : Traditionell ekologisk kunskap i rörelse: Koloniala arv och kunskapsförhandling i digitala forum

This thesis explores how traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) is interpreted and expressed in contemporary Western online forums for garden enthusiasts. Drawing on theories of situated knowledge and decolonial epistemology the study analyzes how TEK is legitimized, appropriated and renegotiated in digital discussions. The research is based on qualitative analysis of forum posts. The findings reveal that TEK in these contexts often takes on new meaning, where gardening practices gets charged with political, ethical and existential dimensions. This thesis offers new perspectives on how knowledge is shaped in the movement between tradition, body and digital culture, and it problematizes the line between inspiration and appropriation. Keywords: Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Situated Knowledge, Decolonial Epistemology, Online Forums, Knowledge Negotiations
