Cascos de bronce tipo Picu Las Torres
The bronze helmets found at Picu Las Torres (Ribadesella, Asturias) belong to the Iron Age and show clear influences from the Mediterranean tradition. Their presence in northern Iberia can be explained through ancient routes of transhumance, trade and warfare, connecting the Mediterranean with the southwestern Iberian Peninsula, passing through Extremadura and ascending to the Meseta. These findings provide valuable insights into contact networks and the circulation of technology and prestige goods in Iberian Protohistory
