Avaliação do potencial de reutilização da água condensada do sistema de ar condicionado do fórum rodolfo aureliano - Recife, PE

This study analyzed the potential for reusing condensed water from the air conditioning system of the Rodolfo Aureliano Forum in Recife, aiming to reduce the consumption of drinking water and generate savings. The generation of condensed water in the 18 Fan Coil units (60 TR each) was estimated, totaling approximately 229.68 m³ per month. If reused, this water would reduce drinking water consumption by 20%, saving R$5,547.28 per month. Physical-chemical analyses showed that, except for the slightly acidic pH (5.52), all parameters were within the normative limits, confirming the viability of its use in irrigation, cleaning and toilet flushing. The implementation of this system would bring environmental and economic benefits, serving as a model for other institutions.
