The ius in bello rules of Just War Theory and its implementation in the International Humanitarian Law are of vital importance for attempting to limit destruction produced by war, as well as the easiness to which human being slides into warfare brutality and barbarity. In this analysis those rules are applied to Ukrainian War and it is assessed its (in)application from the legal point of view, but above all from the moral perspective offered by that theory. It can be noted the difficulty, not to say the impossibility of the existence of just wars in the whole concept. The Ukrainian War, with both enemies contravening in different ways those principles and criteria, supports that consideration
