ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ ЛАНДШАФТНОГО ДИЗАЙНУ

The purpose of the article is to analyse the culturological, environmental and social aspects of the project activity of a landscape designer. Methods. The author applies a combination of theoretical and empirical approaches, namely: the method of observation, the method of study and generalisation, the method of analysis, comparison, and synthesis in the study of trends and prospects of landscape design. Results. It is established that landscape design as a general cultural and environmental factor affects the socio-cultural aspect of human life and the safety of its activities. Landscape design is transformed into a phenomenon that combines environmental safety, economic feasibility, and aesthetic expressiveness. The article provides an analysis of the modern means of creating landscape design projects. With the help of landscape design, new values and norms are formed in the cultural space, spatial orientations and forms of social development are expanded. The global issues of humanity determine the orientation of scientific and cultural vectors of Ukraine to European standards. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the fact that landscape design is considered in the range of cultural, environmental, and social issues. The main trends and prospects of modern landscape design are identified.
