Всемирное наследие и устойчивый туризм - сохранение горы Цзинмай / Н. Чен

World Heritage Sites, which are of great importance to the tourism industry, are facing a variety of unprecedented challenges and problems, including environmental pressures, the erosion of traditional practices, and conflicts among indigenous communities. This paper contributes to the theoretical discourse on sustainable heritage site tourism by examining the case of Cultural Landscape of Old Tea Forests of the Jingmai Mountain. It does so by combining an analysis of China's unique national conditions with an examination of how sustainable concepts and heritage site tourism can be effectively combined. The results of this study show that the growth of sustainable tourism can provide a steady stream of opportunities for heritage sites to disseminate heritage values and promote local cultural and economic development. It can also provide solutions to the challenges faced by other World Heritage Sites
