Un modelo de ecuaciones diferenciales con retardo para el estudio de una ETS con poblaciones hetero, homo y bisexuales
An SI type epidemiological mathematical model is proposed (which divides the population into Susceptible and Infected) for the study of the dynamics of a sexually transmitted disease (STD), considering the population by sex and sexual orientation, takinginto account the incubation period that must elapse for an infected susceptible individual to become an infected individual whocan spread the disease. To do this, a system of delay differential equations (DDE) will be used, on which the matrix of the nextgeneration is calculated for the subsequent calculation, by numerical methods, of the basic reproductive number. Finally, numericalsimulations are carried out using the free software R.
