Tillsammans for forandring : En kvalitativ studie om sociala insatsgrupper (SIG) och unga i riskzon

The purpose of the study was to explore how collaboration within the framework of Social Intervention Groups (SIG) functions and how it influences the ability to provide supportive interventions for youth at risk of criminal behavior. The study used a qualitative method, based on semi-structured interviews with six professionals from different municipalities. The results showed that cooperation between various actors generally works well, but there are also challenges that complicate collaboration and may affect the target group. The analysis identified opportunities for improved cooperation, such as early interventions and benefits of working closely with professionals, alongside challenges like unclear structures and stigmatization. In conclusion, the study shows that SIG can offer favorable conditions for delivering effective support to at-risk youth. However, this requires strong collaboration, a clear structure, and awareness of the different institutional logics each profession carries, as well as consideration of the risks associated with the net-widening theory.
