Spontaneou specie of the semi-arid region in proportions with goat manure in the production of coriander

The use of a mixture of fertilizers of plant and animal origin is important in the vegetable cultivation system, however, identifying the proportion of each fertilizer in the composi-tion will lead to positive results for the crop that will be cultivated, in this sense, the objective was to study spontaneous species from the semi-arid region in proportions with goat manure in the production of coriander. The research was developed at the Rafael Fernandes Experimental Farm, belonging to the Federal Rural University of Semi-Arid (UFERSA). The experimental design used was a randomized complete block design with six treatments and four replicates. The treatments consisted of the proportions of hairy woodrose (Merremia aegyptiaL.) in goat manure [0%; 20%; 40%; 60%; 80% and 100% of hairy woodrose on dry basis]. The coriander cultivar sown was Verdão. The character-istics evaluated were: plant height, number of stems, productivity, number of bunches and dry mass of coriander. The maximum agronomic efficiency of the proportion of hairy woodrose (Merremia aegyptiaL.) in goat manure was 587.28 g m-2of coriander with 5.79 units of sauces m-2with the exclusive use of hairy woodrose (Merremia aegyptiaL.) in the dry mass (100%). The efficiency of hairy woodrose in the evaluated characteristics is due to its concentration of chemical elements present in the dry matter (24.0 g kg-1of nitrogen; 23.3 g kg-1of potassium and carbon nitrogen ratio of 23/1).
