Seguridad basada en el comportamiento y disminución de accidentes laborales en el sector manufacturero del Perú
The motive behind this study was the need to examine the relationship between Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) and occupational accidents in the Peruvian manufacturing sector. Under this premise, the problem linked to the accident rates occurred in a time period that spanned from 2018 to 2022 was addressed. Regarding the methodology considered, a numerical approach and a level that seeks correlation between elements was chosen. The sample was of a universal nature, where the totality of reported accidents (43 accidents) during the delimited period was selected. The techniques used included direct observation and documentary analysis, with the application of instruments such as checklists and documentary analysis guides. Likewise, for data processing, the data were divided into descriptive and inferential aspects, using descriptive tables and graphs to present the information collected. To test the hypotheses, the Kruskal-Wallis test was applied, which yielded a p-value < 0.05. As a result, the alternative hypotheses were accepted, which validated with a reliability level of 95%, the conclusion on the reduction of occupational accidents in the transformer manufacturing field.
