Sexualidad en personas con lesión en la médula espinal: reporte del grado de satisfacción de una intervención recibida en un centro de neurorehabilitación en Argentina

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the level of satisfaction and the interventions received related to sexuality in spinal cord injury patients hospitalized in a neurorehabilitation center. Methods: A descriptive observational study was conducted with adult patients, including 27 participants, the median age being 35 years, most of whom had cervical and incomplete injuries. Results: Sexuality was a significant concern after the injury; however, less than half of the participants were satisfied with the information received. More than half resumed sexual activity before discharge. Conclusions: The findings underscore the importance of addressing sexuality in treatment plans to improve satisfaction and professional support.
