In the context of the global climate crisis and the transition towards sustainable development, this article examines the critical role of organizations in advancing green algorithms. These technologies, designed to balance progress in Artificial Intelligence (AI) with economic, social, and environmental sustainability, provide an urgent response to the challenges posed by traditional AI's energy consumption and carbon footprint aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 8, 9, and 13). The study addresses a significant gap in the literature in exploring he role of organisations in leading responsible innovation and collaborate with other sectors to integrate sustainable solutions into advanced technologies. This work adopts an interdisciplinary approach, bridging economics, technology, and sustainability, and offers theoretical contributions and practical recommendations for policymaking and collaborative initiatives.
