The relationship between humanity and nature turns out to be a multifaceted and complex issue, which has evolved throughout history. According to Latour, between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, the natural order was considered in the background - almost like a static set - where the dynamism of the stories of the human species came first. Later, with the emergence of the Anthropocene, the set entered the scene - with the inclusion of earth and climate events - blurring theories about the historical relationship between humanity and natural history (Latour, 2017). As a result, a closer examination of the relationships between humans and their environment over time has begun, especially those that have been taking place over the last 200 years. These relationships have become much more aggressive and intensive due to the fossil and extractivist economy, population growth and migration, hence the global concern about the consequences of considering the planet’s natural resources as inexhaustible, and the urgency of the ecological agenda.
