Narrar o visível: Poéticas de subjetividade em arte contemporânea
This text, the result of post-doctoral research, aims to reflect on the constitutive dimension of the subjectivation processes of subjects and their power to act from aesthetic-artistic production. The research was based on decolonial theory in dialog with the field of biographical-narrative research. The reflexive axis was based on art and its aesthetic-political-socio-cultural-historical attributes, with an emphasis on works by three contemporary black artists from Brazil, Africa and the Afro-diaspora. The research focused on how the visual and plastic arts corroborate an individual and collective biographical construct; how they propose and articulate questions about racism and raciality, memory, heritage and colonial violence, subalternity, erasure, origin, borders and invisibility.
