Lifting subgroups of PSL2 to SL2 over local fields

Let K be a non-archimedean local field. We show that\ndiscrete subgroups without 2-torsion in PSL2(K) can always be lifted\nto SL2(K), and provide examples (when char(K) ̸= 2) which cannot be\nlifted if either of these conditions is removed. We also briefly discuss\nlifting representations of groups into PSL2(K) to SL2(K).
