Los métodos cualitativos como herramienta para la visibilización de las mujeres
This essay reflects on and links the most commonly used methods in qualitative research, as well as the distinctive basic techniques of data collection in the social sciences aimed at gender-responsive studies. To this end, the methods considered in this paper were ethnography, grounded theory, case study, life stories, phenomenology and participatory action research. While the techniques described and that fall on all of them are those traditionally used in qualitative research: interview and observation, simple and in-depth. These lines analyze how gender studies have permeated the social sciences, providing contributions that make women visible and the role they represent in the different spaces from which they have been studied with respect to equity, equality, inclusion and empowerment.
