La licencia plasmática de la ficción material:notas para una genealogía de la novela

This essay argues that the term with which the novel was initially understood, plasma, has been disregarded by specialized critics, due to the initial difficulty of understanding it under the idea of literary genre, which has implied a lack of knowledge of the material nature of fiction. This is because plasma refers to the work on a material, which can be language or clay. Through an etymological reading, we try to show the relevance for contemporaneity of repositioning the term plasma, and in particular of plasma license, in order to contribute to a history of the notion of fiction.
