La innovación y su gestión en las pymes

In today's highly dynamic and competitive business environment, innovation is a key element not only for growth but also for the survival of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Despite the limitations they have in their human and financial resources, they play a relevant role in the Latin American economy, as they contribute to job creation, technological development and productivity. However, effective innovation management is a challenge for these organizations, since it involves the integration of strategies that enable the generation, dissemination and implementation of new processes, ideas or products, in a context of limited resources. This research explores and describes, using a qualitative approach supported by a bibliographic review of books and articles, among others, both the relevance of innovation in SMEs and the strategies that can be implemented to boost their development. It is essential for these businesses to seek creative solutions to daily challenges by adopting new technologies and establishing strategic alliances with research centers or entities that allow them to enhance innovation by accessing specialized knowledge and resources that foster efficient competitiveness in a constantly changing market.
