Inteligencia Artificial en el Aprendizaje híbrido en la asignatura Matemática en estudiantes de Bachillerato

Since the beginning of the 21st century, Ecuador has experienced significant educational advancements in the use of software programs and tools for problem-solving and decision-making in the field of Mathematics. This study aimed to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence on hybrid learning in the mathematicssubject among high school students at “Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Juan Montalvo”in Manta, Ecuador, during the 2023–2024academic year. A quasi-experimental research design with a mixed-methods approach was employed. Theoretical methods included literature review and the use of inductive and deductive approaches. Research techniques included a student survey, methodological observation in Mathematics classes, and interviews with teachers. Data analysis was based on descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicate an improvement in academic performance in Mathematics and an increase in participation in pedagogical activities based on interactivity, gamification, and autonomous learning. In conclusion, the integration of advanced technologies in hybrid Mathematics learning enhances practices of personalization, motivation, and optimization in teaching, while also contributing to feedback in problem-solving.
