Impresión 3D para formar el pensamiento tecnológico

Exponential technologies such as 3D printing have begun to have a significant impact on education, demonstrating effectiveness as didactic tools to strengthen thought processes. Its immense value is given by the possibility of combining theory and practice in the same exercise, connecting in a friendly way with digital native students. The purpose of this work was to develop an experiential exercise in which the advantages of the use of this technology in the development of technological thinking could be evidenced, implementing its six stages through the design and materialization of basic objects with secondary school students. Through an entry and exit test, data on learning outcomes were collected, and the performance levels of the participants in each phase were also collected through an observation log. The study is mixed in nature and the results showed important advances in the approach of students to the formation of technological thinking. 3D printing has not only proven useful in areas such as technology, but it is also projected to have an impact on other academic fields.
