Abstract

The article transversally references the changes generated by globalization in economic policies, international influences, tax, customs, and exchange regimes in Colombia, primarily through the lens of relations and agreements with South Korea. This concept serves as a reminder of the good diplomatic relations that have existed since the 1960s, the era of the beginning of trade between the two countries. The compilation of bibliographic references will be the methodology that will enrich structural, legal, and historical knowledge, leading to the dynamics of global trends that directly influence the two countries. Therefore, Colombia, as enshrined in its political constitution, formulates, through laws, decrees, agreements, free trade agreements, and regulations, that will strengthen its foreign policy and international relations. This formulation constitutes results of structural changes in both form and substance in the economic regimes, which will lead to identifying the country's advantages and disadvantages. It is observed that: An entire evolutionary process in relations between the two countries, aligned with trade agreements implemented to compete on equal terms, protecting domestic sectors from the harm caused by imports and thus the benefits of exports, through trade and the state's international relations.
