One of the controversial aspects of the post-pandemic was the sharp rise in prices around the world, even more than 80% of countries reported historical inflations during this time. Central banks eased their monetary policy with low interest rates and other economic stimulus to boost the growth that COVID had halted. Verbi gratia, Colombia was expected to achieve economic growth close to 3.5% in 2024.
